The 25th Budapest Nephrology School will be held this year from the 26th to the 31st of August. It is one of the most well-known refresher courses in the field of nephrology in Europe. It has attracted many young physicians from 68 countries in the last two and a half decades.
The School on Nephrology, Hypertension, Dialysis, Transplantation and Nephropathology is held under the auspices of ISN, ERA-EDTA, RPS, IFKF and ISP, with the participation of a distinguished international faculty. The 22 faculty members represent 7 European countries, as well as the USA and Singapore.
The 25th Budapest Nephrology School will be accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). Last year the 24th Budapest Nephrology School was designated for a maximum of 32 hours of European external CME credits. For Hungarian participants the course is accredited by OFTEX for 50 credits.
We continue with the successful initiatives such as “Meet the Professors” and the poster discussions, to encourage a lively and fruitful interaction amongst the participants and the members of the faculty. We also plan to implement some changes, including adding special emphasis on holistic approaches and nephropathology.
The Program is available on the official website of the Budapest Nephrology School at www.bns-hungary.hu
The participation fee (early bird: € 750, regular: € 900) includes: attendance at the nephrology refresher CME course, a certificate of attendance, coffee breaks and lunches, admittance to the 16th International Wine and Health Symposium, an organ recital at St. Stephen’s Basilica, an evening cruise on the river Danube, a sightseeing tour with a visit to the Hungarian Parliament, the farewell reception, and last but not least Hungarian hospitality.
